Students gain access to a wide variety of courses not typically available and have the flexibility to take these courses during scheduled time in the library and from home. These courses are offered at various levels but are generally demanding and academically rigorous as they meet the same standards expected of students taking a traditional high school class.
For more information about the Virtual High School, students may visit the website www.thevhscollaborative.org, speak with their guidance counselor to see if they quality, and/or meet with Mrs. Johnson, the on-site coordinator for VHS.
